England caretaker manager Lee Carsley insists he has ‘all the credit’ for his players after their 2-0 win over Ireland in their Nations League B Group 2 opener.

“I think it’s good in some parts. You see some of the things we’re trying to do.”

“The boys have to get a lot of credit, all the credit. I think we’ve shown we’re really good at it and we can be happy with the clean sheet as well.”

“I thought they (Rice and Grealish) scored goals very well. They have great movement and finish well. I think they will both score goals for their country.”

“With Jack, there’s nothing to prove to us. We’ve seen his quality, but today he did very well, scored another goal for England and hopefully he can keep it going.”

“On a very dry, sticky pitch, it’s not good for dribbling, but I think Anthony (Gordon) is a real threat. He’s continued his form from last season and he looks very dangerous.”

The manager played his part in ending Ireland’s four-game unbeaten run against the Three Lions on home soil (W1 D3), though England could have made their dominance pay more.

“I think you have to give credit to Ireland as well, they were very strong, they closed the gaps and maybe our areas were a little bit more wide in the second half.”

“We found it a little bit more difficult to get past them ยูฟ่าเบท but when we were 2-0 up we were quite comfortable,”
